Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Babur Usmanov met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the priorities of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the OTS and the main directions of multilateral cooperation. The importance of implementing the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan put forward within the framework of the Organization's summits was noted.

The Secretary General noted that Uzbekistan is on the threshold of important political processes, expressing confidence that the constitutional reform will become an important step towards the dynamic progress of the country.
