On July 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The current state and prospects of cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were discussed during the conversation. Special attention was paid to the interaction of the parties within the framework of international organizations and Uzbekistan – Latvia – EU format.

Views were exchanged on the schedule of the upcoming meetings at various levels, as well as on certain regional issues.
