Meeting with the Managing Director for Central Asia and Russia at the EBRD
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the Managing Director for Central Asia and Russia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Natalia Khanjenkova.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the Managing Director for Central Asia and Russia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Natalia Khanjenkova.Current issues of financial sector, public-private partnership, as well as development of stock markets and national currency markets were discussed at the meeting.
According to Natalia Khanjenkova, the EBRD is working on projects in various directions. In particular, further development of infrastructure, water and heat supply in the regions of Tashkent, Namangan and Khorezm.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, the EBRD’s shareholders are positive about supporting the ongoing economic reforms.
