Chairman of the Committee for Roads Jamshid Tursunov met with the Senior Transport Specialist at Islamic Development Bank Emre Eser.

Mr. Jamshid Tursunov thanked the IsDB leadership for agreeing to finance the 4R40 project “Reconstruction of Section 24-182 (158 km) of the Dashtabad-Zamin-Bakhmal-Galaaral Highway”.

With the IsDB, 121 km of the M39 Almaty-Bishkek-Tashkent-Termez highway with a four-lane asphalt concrete surface was completed. This year, reconstruction of a 60 km section of the M39 highway in Kashkadarya region will begin.

Mr. Tursunov proposed that the IsDB implement seven promising projects in response to information about which a willingness for long-term cooperation was expressed.
