On January 13, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ruslan Mirzayev, who on January 1 assumed the duties of Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The Minister congratulated Ruslan Mirzayev on taking office and stressed that the Uzbek side attaches great importance to the activities of the RATS, considering it as the main body of the SCO to ensure the interaction of member states in the fight against terrorism, extremism and separatism.

Current issues of cooperation within the framework of the SCO RATS, the implementation of previously reached agreements and the schedule of the upcoming events at various levels were discussed at the meeting.
