On 20 April 2021, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Charge d'Affaires of France to Uzbekistan, Brice Roquefeuil, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Views were exchanged on the current situation in Afghanistan and the practical measures taken by the international community to promote inclusive inter-Afghan negotiations.

The French side was informed about Uzbekistan's efforts to solve the Afghan problem, as well as the priority areas of Uzbekistan's policy for the economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.
