On August 26, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the British Minister of State for South Asia and the Commonwealth, Lord Tariq Ahmad, via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Current issues of cooperation, the interaction of the parties in the international arena were discussed during the conversation.

The parties confirmed their readiness to continue political consultations on the issues of mutual interest.

Views were exchanged on the situation in Afghanistan.
