Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Yazguly Mamedov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed current issues of development of Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan relations of good neighborliness and strategic partnership, as well as preparations for the upcoming events at various levels.

The Ambassador expressed special gratitude to the Uzbek side for the constant support of the Embassy's activities on all issues, including the organization of visits to Turkmenistan at various levels.

The parties noted the importance of further enhancing mutually beneficial collaboration and joint implementation of promising projects and programs in trade-economic, transport-transit, humanitarian and other spheres.

The sides exchanged views on the current issues of regional and international security.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
