On December 16, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland Radosław Gruk, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation.

Views were exchanged on practical aspects of the implementation of previously reached agreements.

Specific proposals were discussed to intensify trade-economic and investment ties, including holding a regular meeting of Uzbekistan – Poland Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. Interest was expressed in establishing close cooperation in labor migration.

The sides also exchanged views on the expansion of partnership in the cultural-humanitarian and educational spheres.
