On April 20, 2018, a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Irfan Yusuf Shami, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The sides exchanged views on certain issues of Uzbekistan – Pakistan relations, prospects for development of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment fields, and in tourism industry.

The date of holding and the agenda of regular inter-MFA consultations were also discussed.
