On May 25, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Mohamed bin Said bin Mohamed Al Lawati, who is completing his mission in the country.


On May 25, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Mohamed bin Said bin Mohamed Al Lawati, who is completing his mission in the country.

During the conversation, current issues of the joint agenda, including cooperation within the UN, OIC and other international organizations were discussed.

The sides noted with satisfaction the stable and progressive nature of Uzbekistan – Oman relations in all areas of mutual interest. As it was emphasized, the forthcoming start of activity of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Muscat will open a new page in the history of bilateral cooperation.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his fruitful activity and personal contribution to strengthening and development of relations between the two countries and people and wished success on a new assignment.

The Ambassador, who has worked in his current position for about 6 years, thanked the leadership of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the assistance in execution of his duties as head of the diplomatic mission of Oman.
