On June 23, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Issues of the development of bilateral cooperation and preparation for the upcoming events at various levels were discussed.

The parties noted that thanks to personal contacts, open and trusting dialogue and firm political will of the Presidents of the two countries, relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have risen to a qualitatively new level in recent years.

The main attention was paid to the issues of enhancing the development of bilateral relations, including in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture and culture.

The parties also exchanged views on the current issues of regional and international agendas.

The meeting was held in an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere.
