On 25 April 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Accepting copies of the Ambassador's credentials, Vladimir Norov congratulated him on his appointment to a responsible post and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

Current issues of good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed at the meeting. The parties confirmed their mutual readiness to further intensify ties in the political, trade-economic, transport, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The progress of the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the schedule of the upcoming events at the high and interregional levels, were considered.

An agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the framework of the UN, CIS, SCO, OIC, ECO, OTS, and other international structures.
