On February 1, 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia Sunaryo Kartadinata, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties considered the state of Uzbekistan – Indonesia relations and exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation development. The issues of interaction within the UN and other multilateral structures were considered.

The importance of expanding the contractual and legal framework of interaction that meets the requirements of modern global challenges was noted.

The primary attention was paid to the intensification of economic diplomacy by facilitating the establishment and expansion of contacts between business entities, creating favorable conditions for mutual trade and implementing joint investment projects.

The parties also agreed on a schedule of bilateral contacts and joint events for 2023 and the future.
