Meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus

On October 9, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov held virtual talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Marinich, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
Views were exchanged on prospects of Uzbekistan – Belarus cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The sides considered the schedule of the upcoming joint events, including the issue of holding a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation and Inter-MFA Consultations.
Issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations were also discussed at the meeting.
