Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Advisor to the President of the Italian Senate for International Relations Valentino Valentini, in Rome, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed the issues of the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue between Uzbekistan and Italy, prospects for the mutual study of the experience of parliamentary in public administration and lawmaking.

The main attention was paid to the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between friendship groups in the parliamentarians of the two counties to enhance mutual contacts, participation in international conferences and forums in both countries.

Mutual interest was expressed in providing parliamentary support for cooperation at the bilateral level in culture, enhancing collaboration between scientific and educational institutions.
