Guests were informed about fundamental reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in accordance with the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021. Practical activities carried out to develop and strengthen inter-parliamentary relations with foreign countries, including Russia were also discussed at the meeting.

Members of the delegation praised the large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the meeting, famous Uzbekistan cosmonaut, Hero of Russia Solijon Sharipov informed about activities of the Cosmonaut Training Center, where he works.

The parties expressed their readiness to develop effective and constructive cooperation in the future.

Following the meeting, members of the delegation got acquainted with activities of deputies of the Legislative Chamber.
