The Union of Writers of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of representatives of the International Guild of Writers with Uzbek writers.

It was attended by the head of the International Guild of Writers Lada Baumgarten from Germany, Valentina Benderskaya from Israel, Yelena Yakhnenko from Belgium, as well as members of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, writers, and poets, literary critics of the country.

At the event, reports on “Review of modern Uzbek poetry”, and “Development of children’s literature in Uzbekistan at the present stage” were heard.

Books published by the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and the International Guild of Writers were presented.
