On March 11, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Antalya, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The current state and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed at the meeting.

Views were exchanged on the interaction of the parties within the framework of international structures.

The readiness of Uzbekistan and Qatar to continue joint efforts to strengthen peace in Afghanistan and restore its socio-economic infrastructure was confirmed.
