The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo hosted a meeting with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Satoshi Nakanishi.

The Japanese side congratulated Uzbekistan on the successful performance of Uzbekistan athletes at the Olympic Games and expressed hope that Uzbek athletes will also demonstrate good results during the Paralympic Games.

The parties discussed issues of the current agenda of Uzbekistan – Japan cooperation, in particular the development of parliamentary cooperation, the exchange of delegations, interaction within international organizations, as well as the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Japan in 2022.
