Deputy Hokim of Tashkent for Tourism, Sports, Culture, Cultural Heritage and Mass Communications Fakhriddin Davrukov met with a delegation of the city of Lianyungang led by Executive Vice Mayor Yang Xinzhong.

Thanking the guests for the visit, Mr. Davrukov noted that friendly relations between Uzbekistan and China have a long history, and in recent years cooperation has expanded and reached a new stage. High-level dialogues between the heads of the two countries have created a solid foundation for this.

Mr. Davrukov also noted that favorable conditions and opportunities for cooperation have been created in Tashkent, and the Hokimiyat is ready to fully support initiatives and plans in the introduction of alternative energy sources, transport, logistics, chemical technologies, pharmaceuticals, information and communication technologies and tourism.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue dialogue with the participation of representatives of the business community and discuss in more detail the areas of collaboration.
