Meetings with leaders and experts from leading think tanks of the People’s Republic of China were organized at the Development Strategy Center.

According to the Development Strategy Center, Executive Director of the Center Eldor Tulyakov, Director of the Eurasian Social Development Research at the Development Research Center of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Yongquan and researcher at the Institute Zhang Ning discussed the state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and China, signing a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation between the think tanks further.

At a meeting with the Deputy Director of IREECAS CASS Jin Zhe, Eldor Tulyakov informed the guests about the activities of the Center in 2022–2026. Jin Zhe expressed his opinion on the Uzbekistan Presidential Election and the recent reforms implemented in the country.

A meeting was held with the leadership of the Institute of Russian and Central Asian Studies of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. The rapid development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China after the pandemic and mutual support for initiatives put forward by countries to solve global problems were noted.

Uzbekistan and Chinese experts agreed to further strengthen relations between the leading think tanks of the two countries by holding joint events, implementing research projects, and exchanging personnel.
