Representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) mission arrived in Uzbekistan and met with representatives of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

At the meeting, held at the Nukus branch of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, several important issues related to the establishment of bilateral relations, the implementation of promising joint projects, and the establishment of cooperation in the development of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry were discussed.

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the conditions for students in the university branch’s classrooms and educational laboratories. They were provided with detailed information about the educational process and laboratory equipment.

Representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) mission will visit Uzbekistan until August.
