Meeting with international experts
On May 6-7, the State Committee for Industrial Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with international experts on organizing and defining the scenario of “Jeyran” exercises.
On May 6-7, the State Committee for Industrial Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with international experts on organizing and defining the scenario of “Jeyran” exercises.
These exercises are scheduled to be held in the second half of 2019 within the framework of implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the National Action Plan of the Republic of Uzbekistan on implementation of international documents in the field of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety for 2018-2021”.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the CBRN CoE Regional Secretariat for Central Asia, Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Industrial Safety B.Gulamov. It was attended by experts of CBRN CoE, specialists from relevant ministries and agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Jeyran” exercises are aimed at developing a quick and adequate response to chemical and biological incidents.
