Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with the Director General of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency Imad Al-Zuhairi, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the 46th Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The state and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan – Palestine relations, issues of interaction within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other structures were discussed at the meeting.

The sides expressed interest in developing cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Views were also exchanged on certain international and regional issues.
