On November 19, 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Siddikov met with Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalatbek Masadykov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Current issues of bilateral relations and the agenda of international politics were discussed at the meeting.

The sides noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which became possible thanks to the open and trusting dialogue established between the leaders of the two countries.

The parties exchanged views and assessments on the current situation in Afghanistan, its impact on international security, the country's integration into regional economic processes, as well as the provision of emergency humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
