On April 13, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergey Lebedev, in Samarkand.

The parties discussed various aspects of Uzbekistan’s interaction with the CIS and issues of preparation for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth in Samarkand.
