On 29 July 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received Director of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre for Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors (CARICC) Rustam Miralizoda, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed current issues of cooperation in combating drug trafficking in the region and ways to further improve the effectiveness of joint measures.

CARICC Director highly appreciated the systematic work carried out in Uzbekistan to prevent crimes related to drug trafficking, the country’s effective cooperation with other participating states of the Center.
