As part of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to Bishkek, a meeting was held at the Ala Archa State Residence with the Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene.

The parties exchanged views on the tasks for the future that should be implemented to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.

It was emphasized that the volume of trade turnover does not correspond to the potential of the countries. There are sufficient opportunities to increase the volume several times in the coming years.

The Uzbek side drew attention to the importance of accelerating the signing of a program to develop trade and economic cooperation.

As part of this event, it was also proposed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission and Uzbekistan – Mongolia Business Forum in Tashkent.

At the meeting, important issues of development of cooperation in agriculture, industrial cooperation, trade, transport and logistics, tourism, ecology, and cultural and humanitarian spheres were also analyzed.
