A meeting was held with the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Belarus Alexander Volfovich, who arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the 17th meeting of the SCO Security Council Secretaries.

Issues of further strengthening the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, including security, were considered.

Priority areas of cooperation between law enforcement agencies, ministries of emergencies, as well as in the military and military-technical spheres were discussed.

The parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening constructive interaction, a serious attitude to enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in security, both in a bilateral format and within the framework of the SCO.

The importance of maintaining the accumulated intensive dynamics of relations and giving them an additional impetus due to the existing significant potential was emphasized.
