As part of the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China, the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva met with the First Lady of the People’s Republic of China Peng Liyuan.

Ziroat Mirziyoyeva noted that the roots of relations between Uzbekistan and China go back centuries, and the rich history and culture of our people serve as an essential basis for rapidly developing ties in the spirit of friendship, mutual trust, and respect.

She congratulated the residents of friendly China on the upcoming Lunar New Year - the wonderful holiday of Chun Jie – and expressed her best wishes.

In turn, Peng Liyuan noted that she appreciates the close friendly relations established with the First Lady of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and expressed satisfaction with the strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

The conversation took place in a traditionally warm and sincere atmosphere.
