On December 22, the 29th meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Heads of Legal Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS Member States was held via videoconference within the framework of the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Committee from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.

At the event, the parties exchanged views on general issues of legal cooperation within the framework of CIS, creation of a working group to finalize and coordinate the draft Methodological recommendations for development of draft international treaties concluded within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as activities of the working group on development of a Convention on the Legal Status of Delegations sent to the CIS Member States.

A Protocol was adopted on the discussed issues.
