The 1st Coordination Commission of the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth and Paralympic Games has begun its meeting in Tashkent.
Representatives of the official delegation led by the President of the Asian Paralympic Committee Majid Rashed held a meeting on general preparations and organizational work before the important competitions.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Qosimov, the Deputy Hokim of Tashkent city Durdona Rakhimova, the Chairman of the National Paralympic Committee Mukhtorkhan Tashkhodjayev, and others.
Representatives of the Tashkent 2025 Directorate held a presentation on the preparations for this prestigious continental competition. In addition, detailed information was given on large-scale preparations for the complex competitions, sports included in the program of the games, the facilities where they will be held, the approximate number of delegations, transport and logistics issues, anti-doping, visas, and air travel.
On October 6, members of the delegation led by Majid Rashed will visit the Paralympic Village under construction in Tashkent.
On October 7, a press conference will be held at the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Minister Adham Ikramov, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee Majid Rashed, and the leadership of the National Paralympic Committee on preparations for the Youth Paralympic Competitions.
