The fifth Meeting of Health Ministers of the SCO Member States has kicked off in Tashkent.

The event, held in a hybrid format under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is attended by the ministers of health of the SCO member states and international experts in this field, heads of various ministries and agencies, honored guests.

The Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Bekzod Musayev, and the SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming addressed the event.

In his online speech, the Secretary-General noted that the organization faces the issue of taking cooperation to a qualitatively new level, since there are all opportunities for this.

At the meeting, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare of India Mansukh Mandaviya will deliver a speech.

The event is held within the framework of the International Forum “Integrating traditional medicine into a modern healthcare system”.
