Meeting of representatives of Uzbekistan Airports and IATA
The leadership of Uzbekistan Airports and Tashkent International Airport organized talks with representatives of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
According to Uzbekistan Airports, the main topics of the bilateral meeting were the development of a unified strategy for the development of airports in Uzbekistan and civil aviation in general, improving the quality of passenger service and training.
For their part, IATA representatives expressed their readiness to provide support on several issues, including organizing training for various categories of airport personnel.
IATA Regional Vice President for Europe Rafael Schwartzman especially noted the significant dynamics of the aviation industry’s development in Uzbekistan and highly appreciated the country’s civil aviation’s compliance with IATA policies and standards.
