Deputy Prime Minister – Chairperson of the Family and Women’s Committee Zulaykho Mahkamova met with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The meeting was devoted to the analysis of ensuring gender equality in the country within the framework of the project “Development of Energy Saving in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Ms. Zulaykho Mahkamova spoke in detail about the reforms carried out in the country to comprehensively support women and about the results achieved in ensuring gender equality.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on developing projects that aim to create favorable conditions for women and expand their opportunities.
