Social protection of the needy segments of the population, ensuring the birth of a healthy child, upbringing of a harmoniously developed generation are priority directions of state policy. Close cooperation with state, public and international organizations, domestic and foreign clinics becomes important in solving these tasks.
Since 2002, the Soglom Avlod Uchun Foundation together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the International Organization Friedensdorf International (Germany) have been promoting the treatment of children with congenital and acquired pathologies from families with low income and in need of social protection, children from “Mehribonlik” houses. In March 2018, 535 children were examined, 24 of whom were referred for treatment to clinics of Germany. On February 13 this year, 10 children from Uzbekistan were sent to clinics in Germany for free surgery, and on February 16, five children who were treated in German clinics returned to their homeland.

On March 8-14, a delegation of the international organization Friedensdorf International will visit Uzbekistan and conduct a medical examination and selection of children for treatment in clinics of Germany.
Medical examination of children from Andijan, Namangan, Fergana and Syrdarya regions will be held on April 8, from Tashkent region and Tashkent city – on April 9 in the Medical and Social Center of the Foundation. Young patients from Bukhara, Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions to be examined on April 10-11 at the regional children’s multidisciplinary medical center in Karshi, and from Karakalpakstan, Samarkand, Khorezm, Jizzakh and Navoi regions – on April 12 at the regional children’s multidisciplinary medical center in Samarkand.
