The MebelExpo Uzbekistan exhibition, which opened at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex, created an interactive platform for its participants for the eighteenth time.

“The event, organized by the Iteca Exhibitions with the official support of several state organizations, presents products of over 70 enterprises from 13 countries”, said Oyimkhon Bobojonova, Deputy Director-General of the Iteca Exhibitions. – The furniture and woodworking industry of our country is represented mainly by small and medium-sized businesses. The growing pace of construction of residential and commercial real estate leads to an increase in demand for furniture products. The demand of the population of Uzbekistan for these products is growing every year. Modern trends require bright innovations that are not bypassed by local manufacturers. Today, about 90% of the total market volume is accounted for by local products.

The MebelExpo Uzbekistan is an important event in the development of the furniture and woodworking industry of the country. Participants are getting acquainted with the latest industry news in the third and fourth pavilions of Uzexpocentre. It presents modern woodworking technologies, components, and high-quality furniture products.

According to Sherzodjon Mirzakarimov, an employee of the sales department of the private enterprise Vodiy Trade in Baghdad district of Fergana region, the exhibition is interesting in all respects.

“Vodiy Trade has been supplying 60 types of furniture products to the domestic market since 2004”, says Sh. Mirzakarimov. – This is home furniture, necessary equipment for offices and hospitals. Our team of 150 employees manufactures products in line with industry innovation. The MebelExpo Uzbekistan is very important for us and serves to further improve the activities of the enterprise.
