Museums serve as a means of ideological cognition and education.

In the modern conditions of globalization, the preservation of museum exhibits has become one of the most important tasks, which indicates that each nation is more deeply aware of its history and culture.

The history, tasks and opportunities of museums were discussed at the Open Day event held at the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, timed to May 18 – International Museum Day. 

Creative performances of national cultural centers, national costume demonstrations, book exhibitions, masterclasses, and handicrafts fairs were presented to the visitors’ attention.
