Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Social Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Mavludakhon Khodjayeva expressed her opinion on the meeting dedicated to the results of the referendum on the adoption of the renewed Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held on April 30 this year:
– The new Constitution of New Uzbekistan opens a new development period for our country. Moreover, it is the basis of the Third Renaissance. Of course, this requires much responsibility from all of us.
The basic rules and norms defined in our Constitution differ in their nationality. The Head of State noted that every citizen of the country who has approved the Constitution hopes that tomorrow will be better than the previous one and his well-being will rise to an even higher level.
The referendum held on April 30 this year is the most important political reality that expressed the unanimity and unity of our people, as well as common goals. Of course, it will leave an indelible mark on the history of Uzbekistan. The results of the referendum showed that our citizens fully support the reforms carried out under the leadership of the President.
We, the people’s representatives, fully believe that the new Constitution of New Uzbekistan will serve as a solid legal basis that determines the fate of the Motherland, citizens’ well-being, present and future of our youth.
