“Matonat” premiered in Tashkent

Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency has organized a screening of the documentary film “Matonat” (Courage) in Uzbek and Russian, shot by the Studio of Chronicles and Documentaries SUE.

The film was shot with the support of Samarkand Hokimiyat. It tells about the courage of 101 of our compatriots – participants of the Second World War, their contribution to the victory and the fate of the Uzbek soldiers who died in the concentration camp of the city of Amersfoort in the Netherlands. A brief conversation was also held with film creators. 

The Filmmaker of Matonat is Shukhrat Makhmudov, screenwriter – Rozika Mergenbayeva, cameramen – Rifkat Ibragimov, Rustam Magadiyev, designer – Bektosh Rajabov, composer – Dmitry Yanov-Yanovsky.
