On May 27, a masterclass by Nodir Rasulov will take place at the Arab World Institute in Paris. A lesson in gold embroidery is held as part of the cultural and enlightenment program of the exhibition “Road to Samarkand. Miracles of silk and gold”.

Nodir Rasulov works in a wide range: from women’s and men’s clothing to household items. The master is in constant creative search – he refers to traditional patterns in museum collections and scientific works, travels around Uzbekistan, and studies the regional features of gold embroidery. It combines the experience of previous generations with modern design to keep gold embroidery relevant in the 21st century.

According to the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, the exhibition “The Road to Samarkand. Miracles of Silk and Gold” will be open at the Arab World Institute in Paris until June 6, 2023.
