Consumer communities come together on this day to draw attention to the problems faced by consumers around the world. The theme of World Consumer Rights Day 2023 is “Empowering Consumers Through Clean Energy Transitions”.

Uzbekistan began celebrating World Consumer Rights Day with the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On protection of consumer rights” on April 26, 1996.
