10:44 / 2024-06-09

A delegation led by Deputy President of the Senate of the Malaysian Parliament Nur Jazlan Mohamed visited Samarkand.

The guests visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur. The history of statehood during the reign of Sahibkiran and the Timurid dynasty, as well as the landscaping activities carried out here, aroused great interest among the guests.

“I visited Samarkand in 2009”, Mr. Nur Jazlan Mohamed said. “Drastic changes have taken place over the past period. Samarkand is becoming a tourist capital. I will come here with my family. During the visit, we reached agreements on cooperation between our parliaments. I am sure that our relations will only strengthen”.

Representatives of the Malaysian Parliament became familiar with Registan Square, Amir Timur Cathedral Mosque, Siyab Bazaar, and several other attractions.
