The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov took part in the roundtable discussion organized by the diplomatic mission jointly with more than 20 Malaysian companies.

The economic structures of Malaysia were represented by companies operating in the production of gloves and pharmaceuticals, education, logistics, tourism, as well as the provision of financial and legal services.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

Malaysian enterprises highly appreciated the attention paid to the development and diversification of the export of Uzbekistan products to foreign countries, as well as the conditions created in the country for exporting companies to increase the volume of products with access to new sales markets.

Following the event, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of a Malaysian business delegation to Uzbekistan to study the possibility of establishing a partnership with potential Uzbekistan partners for the implementation of joint investment and trade projects.
