Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan have held talks on prospects of establishing trade-economic cooperation with the leadership of Malaysia’s Alpha Indera.

The issue of supplying high-quality Uzbekistan textile and agricultural products to Malaysia was discussed at the meeting.

Alpha Indera’s leadership highly appreciated the measures taken in Uzbekistan to support the activities of exporting enterprises, in particular by providing additional benefits in the form of refund of value added tax, which is an effective mechanism for ensuring the growth of the country’s economic indicators, uninterrupted supply of goods to foreign markets and an important incentive for recovery of small and medium-sized business during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Malaysian side expressed interest in establishing mutually beneficial partnership with Uzbekistan exporting enterprises to organize the export of high-quality products of textile and agricultural industries to Malaysia.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of the company’s representatives to Uzbekistan in December for conducting talks with domestic exporter enterprises.
