The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid together with the Spanish Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (FESEI) has held a virtual roundtable discussion with the participation of FESEI students.

The event was dedicated to the new opportunities and prospects in Central and South Asia and the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the international arena.

Uzbekistan diplomats informed the participants about the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was noted that Central Asia is of great interest for the formation of a new foreign and economic policy of European countries.

The Spanish side expressed its readiness to actively interact with research institutes of Uzbekistan and conduct joint research in the international, economic and defense spheres, exchange delegations, organize courses, lectures, workshops and other joint events.
