The Turkiston Palace hosted an event devoted to June 1 – International Children's Day organized by the Republican Public Children's Fund Sen Yolgiz Emassan (You are not alone). Children of orphanages and special schools from across the country were invited to the event.

Great work is being conducted on the protection of interests of the young generation, provision of quality education for children, as well as early detection and support of their talents, creative and intellectual potential. Appropriate social partnership of various ministries and departments and public organizations aimed at strengthening the legal protection of boys and girls, assisting them in finding their rightful places in society.



Republican Public Children's Fund Sen Yolg'iz Emassan (You are not alone) in cooperation with relevant organizations provides legal, social, medical, moral and psychological help to the children with a complicated fate. Over the years, a large-scale work on reconstruction and repair of orphanages, further strengthening their material-technical base has been carried out.

Many scientific and creative circles and sports sections contribute to the enrichment of knowledge of boys and girls, full disclosure of their abilities and talents. Various health promotion and social projects become important in promoting health of children and adolescents.



‘‘We have children aged 3 to 16 years,’’ says the director of the house of Mehribonlik (orphanage) number 15 in Buka district Abdurasul Akmalov. ‘‘The enrolment of children in classes in of subject and hobby groups, sports clubs is an important factor in achieving success in various competitions, tournaments and art contests.’’

At the event, children who have reached excellent results in the course of the academic year and who have become the winners of various sports competitions, art contests were awarded with diplomas and gifts.

The celebration of childhood ended with a concert program of pupils of orphanages and special boarding schools.
