The State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development and the KOPIA Center (South Korea) are implementing projects in Uzbekistan.
In particular, work is being carried out to increase livestock productivity and fatten it in households based on the “Integrated ration of general compound feed” technology.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of South Korea presented the “Model Livestock Village” project worth 1 million 350 thousand dollars to the committee. As part of the project, more than 600 households were supplied with over 2,000 heads of local livestock, sufficient concentrated feed, equipment for grinding grass, and containers for mixing feed. Feeding training was conducted based on the Korean technology “Complex diet of generally mixed feed”.

What is the result of introducing this technology? The live weight of cattle on farms increased by 40%, the feed digestibility coefficient increased by 40%, and the meat quality increased by 18 points. Food consumption decreased by 30%. Livestock farmers’ incomes increased by 50 percent.
At workshops with the participation of Korean scientists, students learn the basics of effective use of feed, feeding livestock with a nutritious diet, and caring for it.
