At the meeting with Samarkand city khokim Boburmirzo Oblokulov, it was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Lithuania have been developing in recent years. In this process, it was emphasized that it would be beneficial for the parties to pay special attention to strengthening relations between the regions of the two countries. In particular, proposals were made on cooperation in tourism, exchanging experience. The guests attended the Fourteenth Education and Profession International Fair, in Samarkand.

The Lithuanian delegation also got acquainted with historical monuments and sights of Samarkand. Culture of the Timurid period, which has a special place in the history of Uzbekistan, made a great impression on guests.
